Jesus Christ is your Lord, God, creator, and redeemer
He is also your best friend,
the One who loves you more than any earthly person can
Like any friend or lover
He wants to spend time with you
wants to be the focus of your attention
your adoration and praise!
When you love someone
you have a relationship
spending time together is the most wonderful joy
and the most important thing in your life
So it is with Jesus
He loves you beyond anything you can imagine
and He longs to spend time with you
He wants you to long for His presence
like a parched man in the desert pants for water -
He longs to talk with you
to teach you
to comfort you
to be right with you in laughter and tears
to share the secrets of eternal truth,
love, joy, revelations, and wonders
Listen - He speaks softly, tenderly, calling you
longing for your time and attention
desiring just to be with you
